Deep Child (Radio Edit) by Solstice Coil

Solstice Coil is an Israeli art-rock band that's gradually becoming internationally acclaimed. Their debut album, 'A Prescription for Paper Cuts', released on September 2005, has been receiving great reviews from all around the world, voted album of the month on the German site "Babybalue" (http://www.babyblaue-seiten.de/album_6368.html) and on the Brazilian site "progressiverockbr" (http://www.progressiverockbr.com/monthdecembersolstice2005.htm).

Solstice Coil's music blends the powerful sound and emotional charge of alternative bands such as Radiohead, Muse, The Mars Volta and Porcupine Tree, with the precise compositions and arrangements of classic prog bands such as Genesis, King Crimson and Yes, as well as influenced by modern prog and prog-metal groups Dream Theater, The Flower Kings and Pain of Salvation. Despite all the influences, Solstice Coils music has a distinctive and unique style, the result of a matured band creating music together for over 4 years, uncompromisingly striving for excellence.

'A Prescription for Paper Cuts' carries the vision of the band, providing a 50 minutes long journey through a mesmerizing and intense world of lyrics, sound and melody. The albums booklet contains 16 pages of graphic art by Ofer Vishnia, including a graphic novel relating to the main concept of the album.
